Sofia Richie stuns in a beaded ivory gown ahead of her wedding in the French Riviera

Sofia Ritchie joined fiancé Elliot Grainge for a lavish reception ahead of their wedding at the luxury Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the French Riviera on Friday.

The model, 24, looked sensational in a beaded ivory gown as she and her beau headed to the beach to pose for snaps.

Sofia, who is the daughter of music superstar Lionel Richie, oozed elegance in the frock that boasted a high neck and intricately embellished bodice – which sparkled in the sunshine. 

The stunner – who is rumoured to be tying the knot on Saturday – slicked back her blonde tresses into a chic chignon and accentuated her features with a radiant palette of make-up.

The bride-to-be completed the look with a pair of a pendant diamond earrings, foregoing other jewellery as she let the dress speak for itself.

Meanwhile 30-year-old music executive Elliot cut a dapper figure for evening in a dark tailored suit.

He layered his jacket over a crisp white shirt and completed the look with a polka dot tie and graphic pocket square. 

The couple appeared to enjoy their sun-soaked surroundings as Elliot guided his gorgeous fiancée down onto the beach.

After posing for a slew of photographs they then headed off to celebrate with family and friends.

Ahead of the wedding which is expected to be on Saturday, Christian-born Sofia announced she had converted to Judaism.

The model described it as ‘one of the greatest experiences of my life’ as she was welcomed into the Jewish community.

Taking to Instagram, the daughter of Lionel Richie wrote: ‘What a magical day. I want to thank cantor Nathan Lam for helping me along this journey of converting to Judaism.

‘It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Today was that day!!!’

Sofia was raised as a Christian and spent two years at a Christian school, Oaks Christian.

She previously told Complex of her upbringing: ‘ I went there for two years, and that’s where I got my sense. My family wanted church to be a place where we all went together.

‘My dad was always traveling and my mom was always working. School is where I did Bible classes and studied God.’

Elliot, meanwhile, is the son of Lucian Grainge, the chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group and had Take That play at his bar mitzvah.

He previously told the Jewish Boston : ‘Take That played at my bar mitzvah! They were No. 1 in the UK at the time. The party was great fun and gave me a real taste of how to create an exciting party.’

Sofia and Elliot got engaged on April 19, 2022. And Elliott works as the CEO of indie record label 10K Projects and works with Trippie Redd and Tekashi 6ix9ine.

The couple started dating in early 2021 and they went Instagram official in April 2021.
