On Monday night, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the ranks of celebrity couples have appeared on the infamous ‘Kiss Cam’.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took their Archewell team to watch the LA Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies in a VIP box at the Crypto.com Arena in California.
During a break in the nail-biting match, the couple appeared on the big screen in front of 20,000 fans – including Kim Kardashian, Adam Sandler and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Although fans were hoping that the royal couple – who will not be attending the Coronation together next month – would kiss, Meghan appeared to shy away from her husband’s advances.
As the crowd clapped and cheered for the Kiss Cam, Prince Harry seemed to lean in for a quick smooch.

But feeling camera-shy, Meghan laughed and grabbed her husband’s arm instead of giving in to the crowd.
Taking the light-hearted snub in his stride, Prince Harry then pulled a comical grimace for the disappointed fans.

As a result, the man admitted in a Facebook post that the Kiss Cam had ‘destroyed [his] relationship’.
He wrote: ‘I’m going to defend my honour and my pride as a man until the end…
‘We all fail and we all repent, thank you to those who have invited me to church and if I go it is so I can heal my family.
‘No one is going to be able to damage my image, God is big and strong and these women who are criticising me, I know too have cheated but they still comment.’

The couple attended the New Year’s Day game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Madison Square Garden when they were picked by the kiss cam and promptly launched their intense smooching session.
The kiss went viral online with many cringing at the excessive open mouth smooch, which one critic said looked like the male fan was ‘consuming’ his girlfriend’s soul.
To add to the drama, the boyfriend held up his phone to record their 10 seconds of fame as he and his girlfriend let loose in front of the stadium.
